Beschreibung
I bought it back in 2011, rode it till 2013, then stripped it to build the supermoto you see today! I already had a CCM604E Rotax, which most of the parts I've made to fit the CX. The frame & rear end were the most challenging! The frame rails were removed one at a time, as not to upset the geometry. 2" steel box-section was now the centre spine. The engine outriggers where cut & rewelded & the rear end of the bike was cut off, mainly because of rust!! The CCM rear frame/cradle was refabricated, along with the rear suspension. The swing arm, with being a pro-link, was longer, which made easier for the WP shock! Brackets were made & swingarm strengthened. The front end just needed tank brackets making, which took quite a long time. The top head stock bearing was offset machined so the geometry could be altered, which was slightly out from factory speck? So with lots of hours, paint & so on, it was completed in 2014. The only work that was farmed out, was the rear wheel.
