Ten Inch Terror!
A Husqvarna WR360 powered Vespa with a detachable rear shell. 4 frames have been used to realize this project. The front disc brake, the rear suspension and its linkage, as well as the swingarm are self-developed. For a better weight distribution the glove box at the legshield was turned into the fuel tank. Although the radiator position seems to be a bit critical Ten Inch Terror corners well. The Engine is still at standard specification (55HP and 45Nm torque) only the barrel has been lifted by 1.25 mm to enlarge the exhaust timing. This allows a bit more over-revving and tweaks the engine a bit closer to street rideabilty. The WR360 is dirt bike and designed to go uphill in any gear. :) Electrics and instruments are from Motogadget. Gears are shifted electrically by a powershifter. The alternator has been modified to deliver the required output to operate the shifter. There are still some issues but I’m solving them one by one.
